About
K.I.S.Kits™ and Team Up With Kids™
Our New York Fashionista NO SEW NO IRON Emergency Kit came from searching out quick fixes for ourselves, discovered over the years by window shopping in New York's "gold coast" high fashion districts - and browsing those long-gone little shops where stylists and designers would go.
Friends would see us using the tapes, and glues and crease-removing sprays and asked where they could find them. So, we decided to make it easy and assemble them in kits. We began to refine them to make them more user-friendly, eco-friendly, budget friendly and perfect for travel and for taking with us on the go.
The company, KISKITS™, was born with the idea of providing instant solutions for life's "little things," those daily annoyances that take so much time, and leave us feeling and looking frazzled. We'd rather spend more time on the "big things" that we're passionate about.........and....look good while we're doing them.

TEAM UP WITH KIDS!
In addition to family and friends, for us it's working with people who want to change the world; people who want to give disenfranchised, poor and isolated children the tools and the opportunities they need to thrive and develop as healthy, productive, and giving adults.
We invite you to join and Team Up With Kids in these efforts, or ones that are meaningful to you. We're very proud of our associations with the programs we feature here. A portion of our profits (with your help!) is to be shared with these organizations. Take a look at each of them and see how you can become involved - or make a donation - by clicking on the links below. Or you can purchase a perfect gift of learning, filled music and art from among the fabulous books at The Learning Maestros. Your purchase helps them underwrite their programs in inner city schools in NYC, Washington, DC and around the country.

HELP KENYA PROJECT
This incredible project was founded by Jude Nbambuki, a high school science teacher in Westchester, NY. Jude was recently honored with a CNN Heroes Award for his dedication and success in creating the Help Kenya Project. - an education project that combines technology and the environment to help life children and their families out of poverty. He had a simple idea - bring computers and training to schools in Kenya and have the children plant trees in return.
In just a few years they have collected donations of more than 2000 used computers, repaired them, shipped them along with cargo containers filled with books, clothing, sports equipment, and other supplies to Kenyan schools in profoundly poor, rural areas.
In return, the children and teachers agreed to plant 100 trees for each computer they receive, to help reforest the devastated rural areas in which they live in Kenya. So far, 2000 computers are in classrooms and working; students are learning new technologies; and THEY HAVE PLANTED 200,000 TREES!
